Meals on Wheels - "Heroes"

Each year, we work with several local and regional non-profits, one of which is Meals on Wheels. In 2020, with the Covid pandemic at its peak, Wake MOW moved its annual gala online, and needed an engaging and impactful video that would convince viewers to give. With some help from our family of freelancers, community organizations like the Raleigh Fire Department, and Trailblazers Studios, we were able to create something pretty special. "Heroes" is a tribute to the everyday heroes in communities across America. Heroes who helped us, and who deserve for our help now in return.

Working with laser projectors and mapping software, we curated a library of stock to match our heroes professions that would play behind them as they delivered their lines. It wasn't until the shooting day, however, that we realized our schedule would allow us to quickly color-correct and render footage of the young versions shot in the morning to play on the projection walls behind their senior counterparts.
